Our Festival of Lights Cruse

For our anniversary we got a festival of lights cruse. After Thanksgiving we went to Couer d'Alene, ID. It was difficult to get there because all the roads were closed for a parade and it was raining and snowing. Thaoe was also sick with a bad sinus infection. Here are a few pics of the lights that we saw, we also got to see fireworks on the lake... then we went shopping and returned home. Thanx again for the cruise we had a lot of fun!

Back to work

I went back to work Aug 6. I am typing with one hand. I received my 2nd cast Aug 15.
It has been difficult taking showers, scrapbooking (I cut my other hand on the cutting board) and I am now trying to cross stitch with one hand. It is very interesting. I should get my cast off Sept 3. I am healing nicely so I should NOT have to have a 3rd cast.

The kids came home from their trip to Wash DC so I have lots to scrapbook now.

I also have a new church calling. I am the secretary. Kinda hard with one hand but my President is really nice.

I Fell Down the Stairs

While visiting my inlaws, July 19, i took a nasty fall. I was staying in the guest house and Thaoe likes to have it really dark so he put a matress over the windows making the room pitch dark. It was about midnight and i had to use the restroom. And becuase it was so dark i had a hard time finding the stairs and the light swtich which was in the stair well. Needless to say i didn't find either and woke up at the bottom of the stairs. Thaoe and the kids took me to the hospital and they took xrays and checked me out. I hurt my shoulder, back, knee, both feet, and broke my pinkey. I now have an orange cast for three weeks and will return to have it removed and a new cast put on. I have not been working since the fall and am looking forward to getting back to normal.
